This page documents most of my solutions and notes for FMC attempts that I have done in WCA competitions. I do not have notes for many of my older solutions, so this history is very much incomplete.
When I started doing FMC, reviewing others solutions was incredibly useful to my improvement, and I hope this is helpful to others too. I'd recommend trying the scrambles yourself first if you did not attend that competition, then review the solution I had. It's very possible that you will do better than me on many of these attempts!
If you find any errors in these solutions or if you find any of my solutions posted elsewhere online that are not included here, please contact me!

Eraseable pen did me in on what would have been a 27. Tried to erase the prime I accidentally wrote on the second interchange in comm #2, but it wasn't erased well enough and I wrote it in my final solution as time expired. Oh well.

Thought this scramble was even worse than the first. Had to do a panic L4C skeleton in the last ~12 minutes, so I was happy to at least find this, but optimal is 31. Found this fairly similar skeleton too, but apparently forgot about it and didn't pick it for my panic insertion.

EO starts were lowkey trash on this scramble, but thankfully I found a pretty good block start. Was not going well until I switched from EO starts to blocks halfway through the attempt. Also found 17-5c (very obvious finish off the F2L-1) which was also optimal 25.

Found a different 18-5c which had a worse optimal solution than this one too (thankfully I chose the right 18-5c skeleton)

(L' F2 D F2 D2) //almost F2L-1 (5/14)

It can also be a 3e3c skeleton with a small modification:

(U) //222 (1/6)
(R' D R) //ps 223 (3/9)
(L' F2 D F2 D2 L2) //3e3c (6/15)
I passed through this, and didn't find any obvious edge insertions (I need to improve on this) so I moved on. Optimal was 27 on this, but didn't seem easy to find. Just to add more regret, if you change the final line in the second L5C skeleton to the following, you get 4 corners:
(R2 L' D L' D' R2) //L4C (6/20)
Unfortunately, this one was optimal 27, and much easier to find than the 27 on the 3e3c.

Glad I wrote down this backup skeleton, didn't find anything else. Rough scramble for EO options, but blockbuilding was good, apparently. Wouldn't know for sure as I didn't check that. Japanese cubers there all teamed up post-attempt and
found a 19 on someone's block start.

This weekend overall wasn't my best effort with organizing a regional - found a 21 to 5c on this same start too but the first insertion was terrible so I passed on it. Turns out it was 33 optimal, requiring an insertion that cancelled 0 with one that cancelled 4 nested.
Thankfully, this 26 to 3c worked out much better, somehow.

This one hurt -- optimal was 26. Somehow didn't see the first insertion on my first pass-through, so I spent a lot of time checking nested on first insertions that only cancelled 2. Found that when I decided to look a second time, but none of my insertions that cancelled 2 worked with that first insertion, and I had only 7 minutes left once I found the insertion cancelling 4. Was super nervous and misscrambled a bunch, and had to go with cancelling 1 since time was running out. Wrote the last move with 10 seconds to go and didn't get to check the solution.

Found this quickly, and thankfully gave myself a lot of time on insertions for this. Thankfully it paid off - I'm not very good at the type of edge insertions that I used here.
I also apparently didn't keep my notes from the other two attempts at this comp, and I might have an idea why given the results. :P

This one was also a rush -- many great places to finish the F2L-1 that leave parity early on, had to get creative to break parity which caused an ugly skeleton. Turned this in incredibly close to the time limit.

I was trying to play around with stuff that preserved the blocks made by doing B' U2 on Normal and then L' F' L on Inverse, but this was taking way too much time. I started over with 20 minutes to go and quickly found this skeleton. I found the four move cancellation, had about 3 minutes left, and took the first 8 move comm I found -- not much was left. Turns out that based on the first insertion I picked, only 1 move would cancel. (Had I found one that cancelled 5 later in the skeleton, I could have cancelled 2 on L3C for a 32.)

In great contrast to the previous two solves, I found that 3 corner skeleton in about 10-15 minutes. Frustrated with the lack insertions available, but I'll take my first sub-30.
With all the remaining time I had, I tried playing around with other skeletons -- something weird came up, but I can't make out what exactly happened in my notes -- reconstructing it doesn't leave the F2L-1 that I remembered.
